Sunshine Coast - Day 2

View from the The Edge Restaurant, Montville.

My brother's family had taken an early flight from Sydney and arrived for breakfast.  Catch ups with them and then it was off to a birthday lunch for Dad.  We headed into the Sunshine Coast hinterland to the gorgeous town of Montville.  The day was overcast, drizzly and muggy.

Montville is a sweet village with a main street littered with art galleries, cafes, a pub and boutique shops.  Tracey had booked us a table at The Edge Restaurant which is perched on a cliff, with a long deck offering stunning views of the hinterland.  The food was really good.

With full bellies we did some roaming of the main street, browsed through shops and secured ourselves some rocky road supplies for when we have a rocky road emergency.

The day had cleared up and the sun was out.  Then it was back to home base for some pool fun.

Autumn Nourish Bowl:
Autumn roasted vegetables, preserved lemon, spiced chickpeas, spinach guacamole, quinoa, hummus, tahini ginger dressing.
