Second Christmas

Our traditional second Christmas with Nanoo had to be postponed due my brother getting COVID, so it was a belated celebration that coincided with the birthday of my nephew Casper.

School holidays

The summer school holidays were quiet.  COVID had made a resurgence in our local area, so we were keeping ourselves in a self-imposed semi-lockdown.  There also weren't many nice days to provide opportunities to go out.  We did manage to go to the beach once, but most of the time the kids were at home.  

Out of all of us, Mister was the most social.  He had regular work shifts, caught up with his mates, and joined a gym.

As for me, well January is my favourite time of year.  The Australian Open is must watch TV, so after a day at work I'd come home, put my feet up with a bottle of Pimms and cheer on my favourite tennis players.
