School daze

We are almost back into the routine of school.  I have three information mornings to attend this week.  One for each child to discover what their class year will entail.

Buster has settled into school life rather well.  He has made some friends (although he only remembers the name of one them) and so far looks forward to doing his homework with Henry and Milly when he gets home.  He is learning his Jolly Phonics sounds and already trying to read simple words.  He has a lovely teacher who he already feels at home with having called her "Stinky Feet" during the week.  Thankfully she thought it was funny and agreed with him.

Here are some photos from the past week.

Henry had the school swimming carnival last week.  Despite being a good swimmer he was a bit nervous about taking part in any races.  Eventually he had a go and completed the 50m backstroke, gaining one point for his sporting house.

Milly has dance group at 8.00am on a Wednesday morning so we are at the school very early.

Swimming lessons have resumed for the year and it was all a bit much for some after a full day at school.

Another early morning start.  This time we are hanging out while Henry practices with the skipping team.
