Winter uniform

Henry and Milly's school is a public school that thinks it's a private school.  Come Term 2 of the year the school rules that the winter uniform must be worn.  So out come the school ties, long pants, box-pleated tunic and stockings, peter pan collared shirts for girls, and standard collars for boys.  Have to admit they look pretty smart.

Takes me back quite a few years!! We didn't have Peter Pan collars, only the same ones as the boys. I think the Peter Pan ones are a great invention for the girls, far less masculine. Not sure if Henry would have been allowed to have his shirt hanging loose in our time;-)) I bet today's versions are all nicely washable! Ours had to be dry-cleaned which most parents could never afford!
