Got away for a weekend down to Sydney to celebrate a friend's birthday and catch up with some of the old gang. We left the children behind and headed down the freeway. I always find it a bit strange visiting Sydney. Because we lived there for many years everything is familiar, but at the same time I still feel like a tourist and ultimately I'm glad we decided to leave and raise the kids elsewhere. I don't miss Sydney but I do miss the friends we made.... and we made some good ones.
